Doctor's Readiness

For the Initial Consultation.

How to Recognize Quality Care?

Even if a consultation is offered for free as part of a promotional event, it should still be comprehensive and valuable for the patient. Otherwise, it cannot be considered a true initial consultation.

If the consultation is paid for by the patient (or covered by insurance), a doctor's lack of preparation is a serious issue. Ideally, the clinic should offer compensation or a new, full consultation at no additional cost.

However, it is also important to consider the specific situation. Did the doctor rush in at the last minute due to a delay in the operating room or an urgent case? Such situations can happen. What truly matters is how the clinic handles it.

Do they inform you in advance and offer an alternative appointment or reschedule the consultation to allow the doctor to prepare properly? Unexpected situations can arise in any clinic, and while they may be inconvenient for the patient, the key is open communication and finding a solution together.

If both sides are willing to cooperate, there is no need to immediately change clinics or doctors. Mutual understanding and human approach are the foundation of trust between a patient and a doctor.

Your feedback to the clinic is always valuable. ❤️
