Anna de Bayas Sanchez
Anna has more than 10 years of experience in IVF patient advocacy (Medistella) and in research in the field of assisted reproduction. In the year 2022 she gave university lectures for nurses on the topic "How to communicate with international patients". She has written numerous articles on IVF ethics, cross-border care, IVF success rates and egg donation programmes.
Co-author
Helen Bakar (IVF patient)
Helen is living proof of the power of individual research. She has spent months making sure that she understands her medical condition, she has spoken to various experts in Europe, she has informed herself about different treatment options and she has made a plan for her future family. Even though the chances were extremely slim, Helen did not give up and thanks to a perfectly planned treatment, she is the mother of 2 beautiful baby girls. Helen is truly an inspiration to us all.
Co-author
Andrea Murillo (IVF travel agent)
Andrea is from the US and not even the ocean could stop her from becoming a mother (now of two beautiful creatures). She was diagnosed with "unexplained infertility" and after unsuccessful attempts in the USA, she decided to travel abroad. She underwent successful egg donation treatment in Prague. She even came back for a second baby. She has become a patient advocate herself and now she helps arrange IVF travel for overseas patients. She is an incredible person with an open heart and passion for helping others.
